Paul VI Mission Team Hosts Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser

The Paul VI Mission Team, composed of 42 juniors and seniors, will be holding a chili- cook off on March 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria to raise money for this summer’s trips to the Diocese of Arlington’s mission in Banica, Dominican Republic (http://www.banicamission.com/). Seniors will be traveling from June 4–11, and juniors will be making their trip from June 21–27.

Banica is part of the Diocese of San Juan de la Maguana, which serves 10,000 poor people in a rural area of the Dominican Republic on the border of Haiti. The mission teams are traveling to help out these citizens.

To enter a pot of chili, complete the form on the school website: http://www.paulvi.net/campusministry. School Chaplain  Father Michael Kelly will be one of the judges. Suggested donation is $8 per person. Activities for all ages will be provided, such as live music and games for smaller children.
