There is something called the future, and it scares me half to death. Being seventeen, there is so much of this world that I haven’t even seen yet. The years have gone by, and I still haven’t grown up. Part of me wants to stay in a world of innocence and curiosity with all the colors of my youth, but now it’s time to face the truth: my whole world has gone blue.

Someone once told me, “You can’t succeed unless you know who you are.”

Who am I? I am Cassie Marilley, and there times when I take the littlest to extremes and my emotions take the best of me. I am quick witted when it comes to conversations, but I easily fall into temptation. There are people who only see the world with their eyes, but I see the world with my heart. I’m scared for what the future brings, but I’ll use my heart to follow my dreams for there is only tomorrow that lies ahead of me.
