PVI Odyssey of the Mind Team Takes 1st

On March 18, two Paul VI Odyssey of the Mind teams competed in the Region 12 NoVA South tournament at Manassas Park High School. One of our school teams placed first in the Division III “To Be Continued: A Superhero Cliffhanger” category; the other team placed fifth in the same division.

Allison Nguyen’s “Study of Graphene Oxide in Dental Applications” determines “if, when a dental filling composed of graphene oxide or composite resin material is created, then a dental filling composed of 10 mg of graphene oxide would be the strongest when force was applied.” The answer is yes.
